Dr. M. Vaman Rao
Chairman and CEO
Dr. Rao is focused on building Indigene Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company with a mission to rapidly design, develop, and deliver smarter healthcare products that are safe, effective, and provide multiple benefits to patients for worldwide markets. He has a proven record of senior executive experience in managing and leading the growth of technology, strategy, business development, and operations across the value chains of global pharmaceutical/life sciences companies in Europe, Japan, and the US. He founded LifetecNet and served as its Chairman and CEO until the end of 2001.
Prior to launching LifetecNet, Dr. Rao successfully led and managed the worldwide synthesis business of PE Corporation/PerSeptive Biosystems (US), and was responsible for its worldwide P&L. At Cruachem Limited in the UK, he was responsible for global business activities, and served as a member of the Board of Directors for over three years. Dr. Rao also served on several policy and decision-making committees in the UK and US. Some of his awards include, “Hind Ratna” and “Non-Resident Indian of the Year” for 2001, and “Businessman of the Year in Massachusetts (US)” for 2001. |

Dr. Frank C. Sciavolino
Executive Vice President, Global Design and Development
As worldwide head of Global Design and Development, Dr. Sciavolino assumes the responsibility for the technical direction, management, and staffing of all Indigene Global D&D Operations. Dr. Sciavolino has over 30 years of Pharmaceutical R&D experience at Pfizer Global R&D, and has held various management positions in R&D operations to include drug discovery, development, NDA registration, and licensing. As head of the Phytoceutical Group of Pfizer Global R&D in the US, he was responsible for Pfizer’s R&D collaborations with Biotech/Phytoceutical companies. As Director of R&D Operations at Pfizer, he led the discovery of Zithromax, and played a major role in the COX-2 technology and the development and registration of Celebrex (a blockbuster drug). Further, he was second in command for implementing Pfizer R&D Operations in Nagoya, Japan. Notably, Dr. Sciavolino served as an Advisor to the US Congress and FDA, and drafted the guidelines for plant-derived medicines (botanical drugs).

Mr. Rolf-Dieter
Business Development and European Operations Support
Mr. Rebhuhn supports Indigene’s global business development and European operations. Mr. Rebhuhn has over 30 years of proven management experience in leading global business activities for large pharmaceutical companies. He has held senior executive positions including those of the Chairman of the Board of Bristol-Myers Squibb (Germany), Senior Vice President of European Operations of Bristol-Myers Squibb, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Medicines Group at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Managing Director of Schering AG (UK). Recently, he also served as the CEO of Centers for Medical Innovation AG in Germany. During his career, Mr. Rebhuhn worked in different countries for over 20 years, including important assignments in South Africa, South America, and South East Asia. |

Mr. Francisco J. Batres
Vice President, Finance and Operations Planning
Mr. Batres' responsibilities include financial and operations planning. He has over 25 years of global pharmaceutical management experience with a record of achievements in finance, demand and supply chain management, operations and business planning, and information technology. During his career in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Batres has held various senior management positions in finance and operations including international responsibilities encompassing Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Africa. Mr. Batres combines extensive experience in operations with strong skills in financial planning and analysis. Former positions include Financial Controller of Bristol-Myers Squibb (Europe), and Vice President of Global Demand and Supply Chain Management at Bristol-Myers Squibb (US). |

Dr. Molly Rao
Executive Director, US Operations and Corporate Secretary
Dr. Molly Rao oversees the Indigene US Operations. She has over 15 years of Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry experience. Prior to her role at Indigene, she served as Director and Corporate Secretary at LifetecNet in the US, where she was responsible for operations and supporting the product design and development teams. Previously, she served as a Senior Research Scientist at King’s College London in the UK, where she published several scientific papers. She holds a Ph.D. from the Central University of Hyderabad, India.

Mr. Sanjay Sharma
Vice
President, Emerging Markets and Chief Operating Officer (India)
Mr. Sharma is responsible for Indigene’s business operations in India and emerging markets, including timely delivery of supporting activities associated with IT business support, product design, and development. He is a result-oriented senior executive who has nearly 20 years of experience in building and managing technology companies in Asia and in the US. Mr. Sharma was involved in building multi-million dollar operations for high growth companies like EMC Corporation and Storage Technology Corporation starting from ground zero in Asia. At EMC Corporation (US), he was responsible for the corporate strategy for professional services global expansion including: alliances, business processes, licensing, training, and marketing. Early in Mr. Sharma’s career, he was trained at Siemens in their medical instrumentation business units. |

Mr. P.V.N. Rajashekhar
Director, Business Development and Strategic Planning
Mr. Rajashekhar serves as Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning. His responsibilities include business development activities, licensing, identifying global partnering opportunities, and collaborating on new partner ventures. He is a results--oriented senior executive with over 10 years of pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience. Formerly, Mr. Rajashekhar was responsible for sales, brand promotion, and marketing activities for a portfolio of Rx products at GlaxoSmithKline (India). Prior to this position, he oversaw specialty and institutional sales for critical care business at GlaxoSmithKline. |

Mr. Terry Carrick
Director, CHC Product Marketing
Mr. Carrick, a motivational and inspirational leader, heads Indigene’s innovative Marketing team for North America. He brings over 30 years of experience as a senior executive with an exemplary background in business development, sales, and marketing in the biopharmaceutical industry. Most recently, he served as a successful consultant to the biopharmaceutical industry focusing on consumer marketing, product development, and research, media placement strategies, public relations, and retailing. Formerly, Mr. Carrick held senior management positions at Ciba Geigy, Jannsen Pharmaceutica, Draxis Health, and Pheromone Science Corporation. |

Mr. Jay Madden
Director, CHC Product Sales
Mr. Madden leads the Indigene (US) CHC retail sales with more than 13 years of senior level sales and marketing experience and a strong knowledge of branded OTC and private label markets. He has demonstrated success in managing broker networks and calling on drug trade channels. Most recently, Mr. Madden served as President and Sales & Marketing Consultant for Saratoga Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He has also served as National Sales Manager for Watson Pharma/Watson Labs, Inc., Stiefel Labs, and Rejuveness Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he pioneered and built the Scar Management Category. |
